Who is responsible

GamesLikeThese is run by the site owner (info@gameslikethese.com). See the contact page for details. We are the controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

Visitors do not need an account and there are no forms, comments or newsletters, so we do not ask you for personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

When you open a page, the web server and our hosting provider (TransIP) process technical data that your browser sends automatically: your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested (including search words you typed in the search box), your browser type and the page you came from. We use this only to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are kept for at most 14 days. We do not combine this data with other data and do not sell it.

Cookies

This website does not place cookies on visitors' devices, so there is no cookie banner. A functional cookie is used only on the private administration pages for the site owner to stay logged in.

YouTube trailers

Some game pages show a trailer from YouTube. It is not loaded when you open the page: only after you press play, the video player is loaded from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube (Google) then receives your IP address and may store or read information on your device. See Google's privacy policy. If you do not press play, nothing is sent to YouTube.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. Email us to use these rights at info@gameslikethese.com. Because we do not know who a visitor is, we may only be able to find data if you tell us your IP address and the time of your visit. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
